THE CAVE CAST HOW TO
You'll be prompted a tutorial on how to take a long rest. Cross the Riverīehind the door is an underground river, you simply need to cross it by jumping onto the platforms until you reach a campfire that can be used to rest. After activating the mechanism, go back and head towards the unlocked door. Enter Cautious Mode, climb down the ladder, and head towards the ladder on the right, climb to the top to find the switch that opens the locked door. You'll now be prompted a tutorial on how to use Cautious Mode.jĪctivating cautious mode makes you slower, but it grants two benefits: hidden objects and traps are easier to find, and you are harder for enemies to spot. Walk towards the ladder and a short cutscene will trigger where you'll see a group of Orcs below. Now, the door that's also near the chest is locked and you need to find the switch to open it. Or you can loot the chest that's on the right side, near the gate to find a Potion of Healing, along with some other loot such as a Torch. If you have a Potion of Healing with you or a healing Cantrip, use it. You'll obtain a secondary task which is to heal yourself upon entering the first section of the cave. Examining the totem requires an Intelligence ( History) check - after examining it, explore further by opening the gate ahead. Once both torches are lit, examine the totem for your character to identify the location you are in. Equip your Light Source item and then approach the two bracketed torch to light it up. When you gain control of the character, you can cast the Light cantrip to light up the way or equip a Torch or a Candle. This quest serves as a tutorial regarding basic stealth, resting, and using Light Sources.

Quests are different tasks and missions that a player can acquire and partake in throughout the game, quests are usually unlocked through the main campaign, during a series of events, or are given by certain NPCs. The Cave is a Main Quest in Solasta: Crown of the Magister.
